  • Raqes Singh
  • Deepika and Ranbir’s movie list isn’t long drawn out but each and every movie on that list was widely accepted by audiences and critics alike

Once a couple, now friends who go on double dates with their spouses, Ranbir and Deepika have been in each other’s lives for close to fifteen years now! It is a fascinating fact that the duo made their Bollywood debuts in the same year, 2007, Deepika with Farah Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Sawariya’, paired opposite Sonam Kapoor. However, Deepika’s entry into the world of cinema began in 2006 with the Kannada movie ‘Aishwarya’.

Their individual career trajectory has been filled with some lows but mostly highs and massive love from the audience. Deepika was last seen in the film that broke every record for a Hindi movie, Pathaan, and Ranbir’s last movie ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar’ brought back the actor’s charm, his lively and fun-loving side as an actor after a long time!
