    Steps to Fix Origin not Working issue on Mac 

    Clear Origin cache 

    Clearing the Origin cache can help solve several problems, such as login issues, slow performance, and other issues. Here are the steps on how to delete Origin cache files on Mac:

    1. On your Mac, launch the Origin client and head to the Origin menu > select Preferences 
    2. Click on the Advanced tab and then click on the Clear Cache button to delete temporary files and data causing problems. 
    3. Restart the Origin client to check whether the issues are resolved, and you can play games without any interruptions. 

    Generally, clearing the cache files solves problems with Origin. But if the issue persists, it would be best to try other troubleshooting steps mentioned in this guide. 

    Check if Origin is on your antivirus whitelist 

    Sometimes, the Origin client might be showing problems because of the antivirus software installed on your Mac. You need to check whether Origin is whitelisted in the antivirus software. 

    The process of whitelisting any app on your Mac antivirus software depends on the antivirus program you are using. But most of them have a feature called whitelisting or exclusions. This feature lets you add specific files or programs to a list of exceptions.

    1. Open the antivirus software installed on your Mac and then go to the preferences or settings menu. 
    2. Search for an option related to whitelisting or exclusions. You may find this option under Security or Advanced Settings.
