    According to a story of the past, this place is haunted by the spirit of “Annie Palmer”. Annie learned witchcraft from a nanny who adopted her after her parent’s demise. She, then, murdered her three husbands and numerous slaves until she got murdered by one of his slaves. 

    Greenwood Great House

    Greenwood Great House is one of those few spared houses that were preserved from the slave revolt of 1831. It is also famous for its relation with the famous poet Elizabeth Barrett Browning. 

    You can get a tour through the rooms where the original furniture and unique collection of antiques and books are well-preserved.
