Will There Be a Pushpa Part 2?

Initially, the makers didn’t plan on a sequel and intended it as a single film, but due to the unexpected success of the movie in the Hindi belt, they decided to make it a two-part film.

The first part ended on an intriguing note with Bhanwar Singh, played by Fahadh Faasil, vowing to take revenge on Pushpa, played by Allu Arjun.

The second part of the movie is named Pushpa part 2: The Rule. It will begin from where the first part ended, signifying the age of ‘Pushpa Raj’ and the struggles he will face and how he’ll manage to overcome them.

Sukumar, the director of the film, revealed in an interview that Pushpa part 2: The Rule will orbit around giving closure to Pushpa’s life and the conflict between Pushpa and Bhanawar Singh Shekhawat. Star Cast of Pushpa Part 2: The Rule

If reports are to be believed, then the Premam actress Sai Pallavi has been approached for the role of Allu Arjun’s sister in the movie.

Apart from this, there aren’t any major changes in the star cast.

The main star cast remains the same, with the Megastar Allu Arjun in the   role of Pushpa, Fahad Faasil as the antagonist Bhanwar Singh, and Rashmika Mandanna as Srivalli, among some of the confirmed returnees.

A few months back, in an interview, Allu Arjun shared his excitement for Pushpa: The Rule, and when he was asked if he had any updates about the movie that he could share, he said,

“I know all of you have been asking me for updates about Pushpa 2. I have a small one. If it was ‘Thaggedhe Le’ in Pushpa 1, it would be ‘Asalu Thaggedhe Le’ in Pushpa 2.”

Thaggedhe Le is a Telugu slang, which was Allu Arjun’s catchphrase in the Pushpa: The Rise, which means, ‘I will not bow down now’. Going by his words, it is most likely that Asalu Thaggedhe Le will replace the former catchphrase in the second part. However, the meaning of both phrases is the same Pushpa, Pushpa Raj… Main Jhukega Nahi Sala’

    He further added,

“I’m hoping everything will turn out to be positive. I’m excited; I hope that excitement touches you too.”

Well, we are excited too, Pushpa!!!!
