When is the Beastars Season 3 Release Date?
Beastars season 3 release date has been set and the final season of the popular anime will be released in 2024. Currently, no release date has been announced for the final season of the anime, but it can happen anytime soon.
The season 3 of Beastars was announced at Anime Expo 2023; since then, the anime has been in production. Recently, it was revealed that Yoshihiro Watanabe, the producer of Beastars, will be returning for the final season.
Apart from Watanabe, Shinichi Matsumi, the director of the first two seasons, and Nao Ootsu, the one who did the character design for the anime, would also be returning.
Paru Itagaki, the creator of the manga, recently revealed that he was part of a meeting and that the anime is nearing its completion.
Here is the quote from Paru:
Paru Itagaki 🗣️: I went to a BEASTARS anime meeting the other day and was so excited that I wanted to draw together for the first time in a long time! 🐺 I can’t say much about it yet, but look forward to the final season! Shared from official Beastars X account
What is the Plot for Beastars Season 3?
Set in a modern world of anthropomorphic animals, the culture is heavily divided between Herbivorous animals and Carnivorous animals. Beastars focuses on Legoshi, a gray wolf who, despite his appearance, is a timid and kind individual who won’t hurt anyone.
Legoshi’s life is turned upside down when he gets dragged into an investigation of the murder of Tem, the alpaca. The first two seasons have done well to portray the story of the manga; apart from Legoshi, Haru (Rabbit), and Jack (Labrador), Louis (Deer), and Gohin (Panda) are some of the most popular characters of the anime.
The final season of Beastars will cover the Interspecies Relations Arc (Chapter 100 – 123) and the Revenge of the Love Failure Arc (Chapter 124 – 193). With the source material for season 3 being almost equal to the first two seasons, you can expect this season to have double the episodes from the previous season.
